Joyful Learning And Jumping For Joy!

Hello family and friends!

Wow another wedding coming up!! Jeez 2 people in our family already got married since I have been on my mission now a close friend.   I can't believe you guys hahaha!!!!! Take lots of pictures!!!!!!  I do hope Tyler plays next year.  That would be really neat being able to see my big bro out there doing what he does best!!!!! You as well Austin! You are a great football player and young man I'm so proud of your hard work and dedication.  Just keep it up buddy!!! You can do wonderful, amazing things! 

I'm trying to build a consistent habit of getting up and working out!!! I've been waking up at 6:15 and working out til 7:00 then I drink my protein and get ready for studies!!!  As long as we move in an upward direction rather than a downward direction, we are getting somewhere! So I'm moving toward perfection a little at a time.  I'm still using my spiritual journal.  It has done sooooo much good for me.  It's allowing me to put all my insights and my tasks into the same file which helps a ton! It has helped me become more efficient, plan better as well as remember better too!!!  I am thankful for the awesome Bishop H for sharing this with me.  He is clever and smart and always has a comeback waiting! I'm so grateful for him. I really want you to meet the H family.  They have helped me, inspired me and taught me.  In companionship inventory recently, Elder Butikofer told me I do well at handling things that aren't going my way.  Sure I get a little upset but he says I handle it well. So I feel good about that.  

 This week was great and was a ton of fun!!!  So this week we had our first PDAY with the new members of our district!  We went to the store and I got some protein and a blender bottle. Then Elder Butikofer told me that I should buy this sweet item.  I turned the corner and it was... the sickest Pokémon hat I've ever seen!! I could not pass that up and it was only 10.00!!!! However my most favorite purchase happened near the end. So my sheets I've had since the beginning of my mission have become tattered and torn.  I needed new sheets.   So I was trying to figure out what sheets- which would be the best purchase, the cheapest, etc.  Then to my surprise something caught my eye! They were Star Wars sheets! I could hardly keep myself composed.  I was fantasizing how my bed would look with the Star Wars sheets on it! Well I'm proud to announce that they look fantastic!!!!! 😆😅😆 They are great and I'm keeping these for a long time!

You know, being on my mission has done me a load of good!!!  I have learned to appreciate cleaning and having clean, appealing and organized rooms and materials! I now have a love for doing dishes and cleaning!!!  You know how much I enjoy listening to music while I clean!!  We had an apartment inspection this week so we straightened up our apartment and made it look and smell good!!!! 

This week we were able to eat lunch with a single sister in the ward.  She invited her neighbor and we all talked about our lives- and of course religion.  The neighbor wasn't interested in our religion but we had a good conversation where we shared our beliefs and experiences that helped each of us grow and strengthen our faith!  That evening we went to a recent convert's house (N).  We had planned to talk about how he could fellowship his friend and planned do a role play with N but when we got to his house, N's friend was there eating dinner so we talked about the importance of reading the BOM and feel the spirit.  Speaking of scriptures, I am in Romans and getting to the letters from Paul.  I'm going to love it! 

On Wednesday we got to have our district meeting.  The meeting wasabout our purpose as missionaries! I left wanting to do more which is always good! I was very excited to work that much harder!  Well after District meeting, we did service for a lady name Sister D.  We got to paint some doors for her and it was a lot of fun.  That night we had the B.O.M. Class.  We talked about Alma 40- the resurrection of the righteous and the wicked; how all will come forth!  I had a question answered that I've been thinking about since my first area so I'm grateful for that!!!  After class, it was time to return to the apartment.  We were done planning so I was just playing the piano when I felt like I should check in on an elder who got transferred to another area.  It was good that I checked on him as he needed to talk.  Always follow promptings! 

Then Thursday we had some pretty great miracles happen! Unfortunately one of our investigators cancelled with us so that was unfortunate. However, we got another new investigator!!!!!!! So exciting!!!!!!!! We went to another investigators house (S) and she told us that she is struggling with reading the BOM; that she doesn't understand it.  So we read it with her and afterwards she said she understood it better.  We are grateful she is learning!

So our PDAY today was awesome!  We went to a trampline park.  Let's just say my inner Baboon came out!  hahahaha
